About K9 MEDTECH:
K9 MEDTECH is a 501c3 non-profit. Our purpose is to develop canine medical simulators for the training of handlers, medics and veterinarians to treat injured working dogs (K9’s, military working dogs, search and rescue) in time-sensitive scenarios to spur decision-making where timely intervention is crucial. Our simulators provide hands-on experience without the use of cadavers.

Tracheostomy trainer
Developed from a computed tomography, CT, this is the actual size and feel of a dogs trachea. This trainer allows medics, handlers and veterinarians to practice a tracheostomy from1-100 times. Cadavers you get 1-3 tries and the trachea is destroyed.
